Duties
Job Title: English as a Second Language Teacher (Spanish fluency required)
Classification: Certified
Primary Function: Responsible for increasing student achievement. Main functions include but are not limited to:
- Assisting students with developing thinking skills and content knowledge
- Providing language support as needed (Spanish)
- Planning and implementation of standards-based instruction
- Establishing a positive classroom environment and culture for learning
- Analyzing data and action planning
- Consistently communicating with stakeholders
- Implementing the SIOP framework and metalinguistic awareness
- Providing data and reports that are evidence of student progress
Accountability: Reports to Building Level Administrators & District Level Administrators
Salary/Benefits
Salary will be determined by experience and in coordination with our teacher pay scale
