Duties
Transport children and other passengers to and from school in a safe and timely manner.
Qualifications
A valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) issued by the
State of Illinois with School Bus Passenger Endorsement
Knowledge of the following:
-All State of Illinois and Illinois State Board of Education
(ISBE) laws, rules, and guidelines which govern the
operation of any vehicle that transports public school
students and employees;
-General school transportation service operations;
-Bus driver qualifications and training.
Salary/Benefits
Salary is based on scale including years of experience
Additional Notes
174 Student Attendance Days. The workday is considered a (3) hours.
Additional hours may be available for field trips and athletic events.
