Duties

St. George CCSD No. 258 is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as Principal for grades Pre-K through 8. The successful candidate will provide instructional leadership, foster a positive school culture, support student achievement, and ensure the effective operation of all elementary and middle school programs.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with General Administrative Endorsement (Type 75 or equivalent Illinois Principal Endorsement).
• Pre-K through 8 teaching/administrative experience 
• Strong knowledge of Pre-K through 8th grade learning standards and curriculum
• Strong knowledge of special education programs, regulations, and best practices
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience in educational administration preferred

Salary/Benefits

• 12 month position
• 20 vacation days per year 
• Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000
