Duties
Carrier Mills-Stonefort CUSD #2 is looking for a Full Time High School Assistant Principal for the 2026-2027 School Year. The High School Assistant Principal will have the following duties/responsibilities:
- Assists the Building Principal in the supervision of all students, faculty, and staff assigned to the building.
- Call Substitutes and Keep Track of Employee Attendance at the High School.
- Responsible for Discipline.
- Responsible for tracking student attendance, sending truancy letters, scheduling truancy meetings, and reporting student truancy to the Regional Office of Education Truancy Officer.
- District Technology Liaison.
- Will evaluate support staff and teachers.
- Attend & Monitor Extracurricular Events.
- Responsible for all College & Career Readiness Coordinator Duties.
- Responsible for National Honor Society Duties.
- Responsible for the Civil Rights Data Collection.
- Monitor Student Grades Throughout the Year (notify Athletic Director of Eligibility).
- Coordinate Closed Campus at Lunch after Each Mid-Term.
- Coordinate & Schedule ACT Prep and Activities Throughout the Year.
- Coordinate & Schedule the Pre-ACT and ACT.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by administration.
Salary/Benefits
This is a 200 day position (two weeks before school begins, one hundred eighty days of school, and two weeks after school ends). The salary is dependent upon experience and education. It is anticipated that the beginning assistant principal salary will be no less than $60,000. As a part of this position's compensation package, benefits (health, dental, vision, and life) are available. The Board pays up to $953 a month towards employee insurance.
