Custodial Maintenance

Daily cleaning and sanitizing of classrooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, cafeterias, gymnasiums, and locker rooms
Floor care, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and refinishing floors
Building maintenance and minor repairs
Snow removal and ice treatment of sidewalks and entrances
Grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, and general upkeep
Assisting with building inspections and preventative maintenance activities
Setting up and tearing down for school and community events
Assisting with deliveries and moving furniture or equipment as needed
Supporting emergency procedures, safety drills, and facility operations
Maintaining a safe, attractive, and efficient learning environment for students and staff

Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and efficiently
Knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and building maintenance
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance
Commitment to safety and attention to detail
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with staff, students, and community members

$28-$30 per hour, negotiated with Superintendent and BOE based on experience + overtime and fringe benefits
