Duties

• Promote positive student behavior and a respectful school climate

• Address attendance, discipline, and student support concerns in accordance with district policies

• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and families

• Maintain accurate records related to attendance, behavior, and truanc

Qualifications

• Illinois State Board of Education Professional Educator License preferred

• Classroom teaching experience preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

• Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, parents, and community agencies

• Ability to supervise students and respond appropriately to student needs and safety concerns
