Duties
A high school softball coach is responsible for teaching players the skills and strategies of softball, planning and leading practices, and preparing the team for games and competitions. They supervise athletes, promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and discipline, and ensure player safety during all team activities. Coaches also communicate with parents, school staff, and athletic administrators while managing schedules, equipment, and team operations.
Salary/Benefits
13% of the base salary set for certified staff.
