Qualifications
Candidates will need to hold a Professional Educator License issued through the Illinois State Board of Education, with a Learning Behavior Specialist 1 endorsement Prekindergarten through Age 22. Additional licensure and endorsements in other areas and grade levels are also beneficial.
Salary/Benefits
Carlinville CUSD#1 offers a starting salary of $47,118 (Year 1, Step 1). Benefits include comprehensive health insurance and family coverage options, as well as optional dental and vision plans.

Carlinville CUSD#1 is looking for an individual with exceptional skills related to instructional practices, strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership potential, flexibility and willingness to learn, and ability to work with others. In addition to the aforementioned attributes, the candidate will be expected to possess strong instructional skills, be a positive constructive member of the CUSD#1 faculty and staff, and work collaboratively with parents. Technology skills are desirable. Furthermore, in addition to teaching duties, the individual employed will be required to serve on school and district-wide committees. Opportunities for coaching and club sponsorship may also exist.
