Richland District 88a
Title: Special Education Teacher (Grade Level TBD)
Job Goal: To collaborate with the IEP team in order to support students who are diagnosed with emotional and/or learning disabilities. Will work with legally required federal, state, and district paperwork, including Individualized Education Plans that outline the necessary goals, supports and accommodations for each student. The Special Education Teacher will provide classroom management, subject content curriculum, academic instruction to identified students.
Essential functions: To oversee the general needs and accommodations of all students enrolled at Richland 88a with IEP's and 504 Plans. S/he will need to communicate with teachers and administrators in order to establish proper implementation of all accommodations for these students.
Salary/Benefits
Salary: BA - Step 1 $52,156 Credit given for years of experience and advanced degrees.

Terms of Employment: 180 Day, Full-Time
