Speech / Language Pathologist Share: Print: Duties Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and IEP updates Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Salary/Benefits Per LEA agreement How to Apply Send letter of interest, resume, unofficial transcripts and letters of recommendation to Mrs. Christy Willman at cwillman@waverlyscotties.com.
