Speech / Language Pathologist

Duties

 

  • Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with students’ IEP (Individualized Education Program) goals
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, progress notes, and IEP updates
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers and staff regarding communication strategies and accommodations

 

Qualifications

 

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid state licensure and/or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Experience working in a school setting preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
