Qualifications
Pontiac Township High School District 90 is seeking a high school assistant principal for the 2026-27 school year. Desirable applicants will have previous leadership experiences with the passion to be an instructional leader through a progressive, student-centered style. We are seeking an assistant principal with strong communication, technical, and interpersonal skills to meet the school's mission: We are committed to the development of our students as adaptive learners, global thinkers, and responsible citizens through collaboration across our school community. Pontiac Township High School has an enrollment of 650 students. We utilize a modified block schedule. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are eight period days with 45 minute periods. Wednesdays and Thursdays are 90 minute block days. Pontiac Township High School shares part of the building as well as staff hosting the Livingston Area Career Center.
Salary/Benefits
Regionally competitive 12 month contract that will be an initial salary of $85,000-$105,000 including benefits such as health/dental, sick/personal/vacation days, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, IPA membership, mileage, etc.
