Duties

Brownstown CUSD 201 is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Junior High Math and Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a positive learning environment, deliver engaging instruction, and support the academic and social-emotional growth of students in grades 7–8.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsements in Math and/or Science
• Strong knowledge of middle school instructional practices
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering a growth mindset and high expectations for all learners
• Experience with data-driven instruction and differentiation preferred
