Duties

• Conducting evaluations and developing appropriate IEP goals for students
  
  
• Providing direct and indirect speech/language therapy services
  
  
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress monitoring
  
  
• Participating in IEP meetings and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  
  
• Supporting staff with strategies to address communication needs in the classroom

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
  
  
• Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders
  
  
• Familiarity with IDEA and special education compliance requirements
  
  
• Strong organizational and communication skills
  
  
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary/Benefits

$80/hour, 2 or 3 days/week

Additional Notes

The Part-Time Speech and Language Pathologist will provide evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication needs. The position will support students in achieving their individualized education goals while collaborating closely with staff and families.
