Duties
Eldorado CUSD #4 is seeking a passionate and student-centered Pre-K Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging classroom that supports early learning and school readiness.
The successful candidate will:
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards (IELDS).
- Promote early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional growth through play-based learning.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
- Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families.
- Collaborate with staff and support services to meet all student needs.
- Participate in professional development and school initiatives.
Qualifications
The selected candidate must possess a high moral and ethical character, be a team player, and a student advocate. The selected candidate must have a desire to make a difference, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues toward continuous improvement, and demonstrate a positive, growth oriented mindset. The selected candidate candidate must hold a Valid Illinois Professional Educator License for Early Childhood Special Education
Salary/Benefits
We pay a competitive compensation based on education and experience, as negotiated by the collective bargaining agreement.
