Duties

• Provide visionary instructional leadership aligned with district goals.
• Support data-informed teaching and learning practices.
• Collaborate with families and community stakeholders.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving school climate.
• Administer Title I and PreK grants.
• Supervise, support, and develop faculty and staff.
• Ensure student safety, well-being, and academic growth.

Qualifications

• Illinois Professional Educator License with Principal or Administrative Endorsement
• Illinois Teacher Evaluator Certification
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• In-depth knowledge of current curriculum, instructional trends, school improvement process and data-driven action planning, personal and integrated uses of technology, change mangement, and student assessment systems
• Commitment to equity, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Previous administration experience preferred.

Salary/Benefits

This is a 12-month position.

Hiring Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000.

Salary offered to be commensurate with education and experience.

Benefits include a competitive benefits package, including health/dental/vision/life insurance; retirement options; sick/personal/vacation days; and Illinois Principal Association dues and Administrator Academy fees paid by the district.

Additional Notes

Unity Elementary School is a PK-4 building serving 286 students.  It is located in West Central Illinois and approximately 10 miles north of Quincy, IL.
