Duties
Roanoke-Benson Junior High School is looking for a full time 7th/8th Grade ELA teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. We seek teachers who are collaborative with colleagues, empathetic in their relationships with students and families, and willing to work above and beyond their job description in order to ensure success for students. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to plan, prepare and deliver a quality instructional program based upon state standards, curriculum, and effective instruction to students with diverse learning needs. Salary will be based on placement in the current collectively bargained agreement.
This position also requires the teacher to teach consumer education to 8th grade students for roughly 35 minutes per day.
