Duties

Burr Ridge C.C.S.D. 180 is seeking an individual to serve as Middle School Boys Physical Education teacher in a departmentalized setting. The successful candidate must be NCLBA Highly Qualified and State certified with an ISBE Middle School Teaching or Secondary Teaching Certificate endorsed for teaching middle school physical education, endorsement in Physical Education area. Successful candidate must coach at Burr Ridge Middle School during the school year.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois teaching certificate is required.
• Proof of negative TB test
• Completed on-line application
• Completed fingerprinting via ROE
• Successful previous coaching experience, basketball, volleyball, wrestling, softball preferred
• Working Conditions:
  Burr Ridge Middle School. (Departmentalized Setting)

Interview process is on-going. The district hopes to fill this position by May 11, 2026 but will award the position as soon as agreement is reached with best qualified candidate.
