Duties
Warren CUSD 205 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate educator to join our team as a Special Education Teacher. This unique opportunity is designed for a proactive, student-centered professional who is ready to immerse themselves in our school culture immediately. The role will initially involve full-time substitute teaching and providing classroom support across the district to build vital relationships with students and staff while we finalize an anticipated Special Education vacancy in the near future. Once the transition occurs, you will report to the Building Principal and Director of Special Education, taking on the responsibility for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), providing differentiated instruction, and advocating for our diverse learners.
Qualifications
We are looking for a flexible educator who possesses, or is eligible for, Illinois PEL licensure with a special education endorsement to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Salary/Benefits
Salary and benefits are set per the Teachers' Master Contract.
