Position Overview

St. Anthony Grade School, a vibrant Catholic Grade School serving more than 500 students in preschool through 8th grade, is seeking a dedicated and faith-filled Teacher to join our team at the intermediate grade level. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing, structured, and engaging classroom environment where students grow academically, socially, and spiritually. This teacher will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive curriculum aligned with diocesan and state standards while supporting the mission of Catholic education.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subject areas, including Religion, Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies
• Create a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes student learning and development
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with students, parents, and administration
• Integrate faith-based teachings and Catholic values into daily instruction and classroom culture
• Collaborate with grade-level teachers, specialists, and administration
• Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and classroom activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (required)
• Valid state teaching license (or ability to obtain)
• Practicing Catholic preferred; must support the mission of Catholic education
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for working with elementary-aged children

Salary/Benefits

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: $35,000 – $60,000, St. Anthony Parish maintains a salary scale for teaching staff based on years of experience and education
