Superintendent

Duties

The Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Superintendent. The Board wishes to select a superintendent who will begin work on July 1, 2026. The total compensation package will be regionally competitive and based on the successful candidate's educational experience. Qualifications

PEL with Administrative Endorsement for Superintendent

Experience as a teacher and administrator is required

Experience as a superintendent is preferred (but not required)

Salary/Benefits

Terms of Employment:

261 Day Contract

20 Vacation Days

15 Sick Days

2 Personal

10 Furlough

Regionally competitive daily rate based on previous, relevant experience

 

Annual salary is regionally competitive with consideration of previous, relevant experience. Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education pays the full employee share of pension contributions (TRS), 100% of the health insurance costs for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy.
