Duties
George O. Barr Elementary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a full-time elementary teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a positive and engaging learning environment for students in grades K-5, promoting academic excellence and social development. The teacher will be responsible for implementing a comprehensive curriculum, adapting teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to support student growth.
Qualifications
Illinois licensure with certification to teach students in grades K-5.
Salary/Benefits
This is a full-time equivalent position. The base salary for a 1.0 full-time position is $48,205. The District pays 95% of single health insurance policy, plus $15,000 of life insurance. Employee-paid dental and vision plus flex plans are also available. 17 sick days and 2 personal days per year.
