Duties
Description: Grade 5 Teacher at Highland Elementary
Applicant must be willing to:
- Plan lessons aligned to state standards using district curriculum.
- Demonstrate successful experience in reading instruction and other subjects as needed with elementary-age students.
- Demonstrate knowledge in instructional technology.
- Communicate effectively with parents.
- Keep accurate records for attendance, grade reports, quarterly reports, progress reports, etc.
- Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
- Contribute to and support curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
- Cooperate with teachers of all departments to support a collaborative school culture.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Appropriate certification and evidence of successful work with elementary age students.

Salary: Based on HEA contract.
