The Board of Education of Country Club Hills School District 160 announces the opening of a search for a new Superintendent who will assume responsibilities on July 1, 2026. This opportunity provides a dedicated, long-term, career-focused educator, the forum for leading this highly diverse school system. The district’s stated goal is to create a caring school culture that engages and enriches the entire community, thus developing an environment that aggressively focuses on and improves student academic performance.
District 160 is located in South Cook County, Illinois, approximately 30 miles south of the City of Chicago, which provides the right candidate with the opportunity to enjoy all the entertainment and cultural events the city has to offer. District 160 consists of three schools with a total of approximately 850 students housed in one elementary, one intermediate and a middle school. This multi-cultural school district proudly focuses on “Every Child, Every Chance, Every Day”.
District 160 schools are supported by caring parents, a committed teaching and support staff, a strong administrative team and a dedicated Board of Education.

A salary range of $175,000-225,000 will be offered to the successful candidate. Applicants will be informed of the Board’s selection and appointment of the new superintendent. The final selection and appointment is the sole responsibility of the Board of Education.
