Duties
Conducts psychological evaluations for multiple school districts within the cooperative. Leads domain and eligibility determination and/or three-year evaluation conferences. Conducts FBA’s and advises on BIP plans. Interprets assessment data and eligibility criteria to school personnel, parents, and other concerned professionals. Serves as a resource person conferring with teachers and parents whenever necessary regarding the various disabilities areas. Consults and collaborates with staff, students, and parents/guardians regarding response to intervention and strategies for behavior and/or learning—counseling, and in-service training. School psychologists also assist districts with crisis response procedures, including the completion of risk assessments, and are members of school behavioral threat assessment and management teams.
Qualifications
Full time beginning August, 2026. Licensure as required by the State of Illinois. The qualified candidate will have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an endorsement in School Psychology.
