Duties
The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to maintain effective and courteous relationships with students, parents and staff.
Knowledge of applicable federal and state education laws and regulations
Knowledge of current educational standards, teaching methods and educational pedagogy as well as differentiated instruction based on student learning styles.
Demonstrate and model professionalism
Ability to motivate, develop and support high-performing, high-quality team and hold all accountable for improved student achievement
Ability to read and analyze complex information
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in giving professional presentations and conducting training
Ability to organize multiple tasks within conflicting time constraints
Possess strong technology skills (Google Apps, Microsoft, etc.)
Engage in self-evaluation with regard to leadership, performance and professional growth
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Educational Administration
Illinois Professional Educators License with General Administrative Endorsement
Multiple years (5 or more) of successful teaching experience preferred
Prior administrative experience preferred but not required
State certified evaluator of teachers
Salary/Benefits
Regionally competitive salary and benefits commensurate with
experience. Full TRS, full individual medical, dental and vision board paid. 20 vacation days, 15 sick and two personal days.
Starting salary of $75,000-$85,000 per year, but actual salary will be negotiated with finalists.
