Duties
Peotone School District has an opening for a 6th - 12th Grade Math and Science Instructional Coach position for the 2025-2026 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Professional Education License
• Master’s Degree preferred, but not required
• Minimum of five years of successful teaching experience at the elementary level
• Demonstrated knowledge of effective instructional practices, curriculum
development, and assessment in math and science.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse learners and stakeholders.
• Passion for student learning, teacher development, and fostering a love of math and
science.
This is a 200-day position

Salary/Benefits
Starting salary 2025-2026: BA ($43,681); MA ($48,001); MA+15 ($49,268); MA+30 ($50,539) + based on education and experience. Annual salary is regionally competitive with consideration of previous, relevant teaching experience. Peotone CUSD 207U Board of Education pays the full employee share of pension contributions (TRS 9%), 100% of the health insurance costs for the employee, and provides a $50,000 life insurance policy.
