Job Summary: The Elementary Student Council Director is responsible for guiding and mentoring students involved in the school's Student Council. This role facilitates student leadership development, encourages civic engagement, and supports the planning and execution of student-led initiatives that benefit the school community. The director will empower students to voice their ideas, develop problem-solving skills, and learn the democratic process in a fun and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and Oversee Student Council
- Facilitate Meetings and Discussions
- Mentor and Develop Student Leaders
- Oversee Student-Led Initiatives
- Promote Student Voice and Engagement
- Administrative Tasks
Salary/Benefits
Compensation: 2-3% of the base salary (lane 1 step 1) of the current negotiated contract. For each year of consecutive experience pay shall increase by one percent of the base salary until the maximum 3% is reached. See 2025-2028 Collective Bargaining Agreement
