Duties

Responsibilities:
• Teach a range of math courses
• Develop engaging and differentiated lesson plans that align with school curriculum
standards
• Foster a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and
respect
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with students, parents,
and colleagues
• Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in school-wide events, professional
development, and faith-based activities
• Uphold and model the values and mission of Althoff Catholic High School

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree
preferred)
• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) or the ability to obtain one
• Prior teaching experience at the high school level preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to Catholic education and the values of faith-based teaching

Salary/Benefits

Salary Range: $37,571 - $49,531 (Based on year of service and level of education)
