Duties

• Manage Edgenuity enrollments for online courses, ensuring accurate and timely student registration.
• Assign final grades for online classes in Skyward, adhering to established grading policies and procedures.
• Individualize course setups to meet the needs of diverse learners, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
• Lead hybrid learning courses as needed
• Oversee students in the computer lab, providing support and guidance as needed.
• Monitor and manage distance learning students, tracking attendance and progress.
• Supplement student learning by teaching note-taking, organization, and pacing skills to enhance online learning success.
• Provide assistance and training to other teachers regarding Edgenuity and online learning best practices.
• Ensure the integrity and legitimacy of student learning in the online environment.
• Collaborate with in person learning teachers through co-teaching and substitution as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois teaching license. Endorsements 6-12th grade.
• Experience using Skyward, Edgenuity, Google Education, and GoGuardian.
• Strong understanding of online learning platforms and best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and students.
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Secondary teaching experience.

Salary/Benefits

Comparable with local area and commensurate with experience. ($49,000- $75,000)
