Duties
Blackhawk Middle School is seeking a versatile Bilingual (Spanish) EL Math teacher that has working knowledge of grades 6-8 Illinois Learning Standards for Math. In addition, this teacher must be familiar with current pedagogy and interventions that produce results with English Learners. Potential candidates should be bilingual, well versed in the academic,social/emotional needs of middle school students, and possess a willingness to devote the time required to be successful with high needs students. The teacher must be collaborative and collegial and be an active, positive presence that promotes a safe and welcoming learning environment for both students and colleagues.
