Duties
Hinckley-Big Rock CUSD #429 is seeking a passionate, self-starting, motivated Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates must be knowledgeable, flexible, and student-centered. Strong communication skills are necessary. Candidates must work well on a team and be willing to share ideas and plan collaboratively with other teachers, related staff, and administration. Experience with autism and related disorders is preferred.
- Conducting speech and language screenings and evaluations, providing direct services, as well as support services, within general education, MTSS and special education frameworks.
- Providing consultation to teachers and families.
- Fostering a positive educational environment that contributes to the growth and development of all children.
- Working cooperatively with students, families, teams, staff and the community.
Qualifications
The qualified individual must hold an IL Professional Educator License with an endorsement/approval in Speech Language Pathology.
