Duties

Opening for a 4th Grade Teacher at Wethersfield Elementary School. Seeking applicants with strong classroom management, organizational skills, able to work with children with various needs, and a passion about creating a learning environment where students can achieve their highest potential.

Qualifications

1. Professional Educator License (PEL) from the State of Illinois with Endorsement
2. Standard Elementary Teaching License with an endorsement in Self-Contained General Education and Elementary Education as required by the State
3. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
4. One or more years of experience teaching Grades 4-6 preferred (except in the case of a new college graduate)
5. Teamwork and collaboration are required, along with reflection and a desire to continually improve your practice
6. Reading training/background preferred with a strong knowledge of Response to Intervention and Common Core State Standards
7. Other qualifications that are deemed important by the Board of Education

Salary/Benefits

As per negotiated teacher contract.
