Duties

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with Illinois Early Learning Standards and the Preschool for All guidelines.
  • Create a welcoming, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that fosters each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members across both sites.
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals, support staff, and site administrators to ensure program quality and consistency.
  • Conduct ongoing assessment and documentation of children’s progress using approved assessment tools.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, team meetings, and required trainings.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess or be eligible for an Illinois Teaching License with appropriate endorsement in Early Childhood Education and successfully pass a criminal background check. Early Childhood Special Education preferred. 

 

Job Type: Full Time- 180 day calendar
