Duties
School Psychologist Intern: 2 Positions for 25-26 School Year (August-June)
Reports To: School Psychologist Site Supervisor/Asst. Superintendent of Student Services
Essential Job Functions: Under the Supervision of a Certified School Psychologist Supervisor, Intern
will demonstrate:

Internship experiences will include the following:
A. Systems Support
- Supporting efforts to build a responsive system through MTSS
- Participating in building based and district level MTSS activities
B. Assessment
- Engaging in Data Day (Student Success Meetings) activities as part of the a larger MTSS system
- Selecting appropriate assessment instruments
- Conducting assessments appropriately
- Interpreting assessment information accurately
- Screening/referral/evaluation process
- Reporting assessment data in a clear and concise manner
- Providing classroom observations
- Conducting Early Childhood screenings
C. Designing Individualized Educational Programs
- Developing individualized goals and objectives based on assessment results providing long-range
- student planning
- Fully participating in the IEP process
D. Provision of Direct Services
- Providing consultation and training to staff and parents as needed
- Providing training for parents and staff as needed
- Participating in the development and implementation of mental health preventative strategies
- Demonstrating an understanding of individual and group counseling techniques
E. Case Management
- Participating with the building Student Services Team
- Monitoring implementation of student IEPs
- Managing and coordinating required paperwork
QUALIFICATIONS: • Enrolled in a Master's level school psychology program leading toward state
certification.
Salary Range: $20,000 per intern plus single medical coverage
