Duties
Teaches students academic, social, and motor skills following guidelines set by State of Illinois law and board policy. The successful applicant will implement approved curriculum while utilizing various instructional strategies to meet various student needs in the classroom. Collect and analyze data to then be used to make instructional decisions. Implement effective classroom management strategies in accordance with district policies. Collaborate with various staff members to ensure student needs are being met. Our teachers effectively communicate with parents on a regular basis. And most importantly, they create a positive learning environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree; one to two years related experience and/or training preferred. Valid Illinois Professional Educators License with appropriate Work Study and Business Certified Instructor endorsement required. Capable to adapt and grow curriculum and courses as student interest changes and keep current with the CTE Business world. Comfortable using a variety of technologies in the classroom. Must have the ability to communicate successfully with parents, co-workers, and administration.
Salary/Benefits
RANGE OF PAY: HEA Salary Schedule. Based on education and years of experience.
