Duties
Christ the King School, a Catholic elementary school committed to academic excellence and the formation of faith-filled leaders, seeks a passionate and dynamic Director of Advancement for the 2025-2026 school year. This individual will lead all aspects of fundraising, marketing, and community engagement to ensure the financial sustainability and growth of the school. The Development Director works closely with the Principal, School Advisory Board, and other stakeholders to advance the mission of the school.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- Experience in fundraising, development, or a related field, preferably in a nonprofit or educational setting.
- Knowledge of Catholic education and commitment to the mission and values of the Catholic Church.
- Proven track record of successful fundraising campaigns and donor cultivation.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace & Microsoft Office Suite.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and meetings.
Additional Notes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Catholic school development or parish ministry.
- Familiarity with grant writing and foundation relations.
- Graphic design, photography, or social media management skills.
- Strong technology skills
