The Board of Education of Maywood, Melrose Park and Broadview Elementary School District 89 announces the opening of a search for an Assistant Business Manager/Comptroller who will assume responsibilities as soon as possible. This position provides a dedicated, career-focused educator/business professional or accounting professional with the opportunity to join a dynamic team in the district's business office. Several exciting initiatives are underway as the district moves aggressively to focus on and improve student academic performance. The business office is considered an important component in this movement.
District 89 is located in western Cook County, Illinois, approximately 10 miles west of the City of Chicago. The diverse student population represents all three communities that makeup District 89. District 89 consists of nine schools with a total student population of 4,163, PreK-8. District 89 empowers, educates and inspires students to achieve personal excellence in a multi-cultural setting.
The District 89 schools are supported by a strong administrative team and a dedicated Board of Education. The Board of Education has designated this as a ‘Rolling Search’.
