Duties
Rockridge CUSD #300 seeks a dynamic and dedicated educational leader to serve as Principal of Rockridge High School. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for student success, committed to cultivating a positive and engaging learning environment. This individual will drive innovative teaching and learning practices, empowering staff to maximize student potential. Additionally, they will build a supportive and inclusive school community that celebrates diversity and promotes character development. The principal will actively engage in student life and be visible in the learning community and extracurricular events, provide guidance and support to students, promoting their academic and social-emotional well-being. Strong organizational skills and problem-solving abilities are essential to effectively lead the school. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members to create a shared vision for the school.
Qualifications
Master's Degree and Type 75 or General Administrative Certificate is required. Prior experience as a high school administrator is preferred.
