Duties

Opening for a Junior High Science Teacher at Wethersfield Junior High School. Seeking applicants with strong classroom management, organizational skills, able to work with children with various needs, and a passion about creating a learning environment where students can achieve their highest potential.

Qualifications

1. Professional Educator License (PEL) from the State of Illinois with Endorsement
2. Teaching License with an endorsement in Science as required by the State
3. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
4. One or more years of experience teaching Science preferred (except in the case of a new college graduate)
5. Teamwork and collaboration are required, along with reflection and a desire to continually improve your practice
6. Other qualifications that are deemed important by the Board of Education

Salary/Benefits

As per negotiated teacher contract.
