Duties
Kings Consolidated School District #144 is seeking a 4th-grade teacher for the 2025-26 school year. Kings School has a strong academic tradition and is seeking someone willing to work hard to meet high expectations from the administration and community.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Teach a variety of subjects, including language arts, social studies, science, and mathematics
- Ensure that teaching methods are adapted to the varying needs of individual students
- Develop lesson plans and provide instruction based on individual students’ abilities
- Prepare and administer tests to evaluate students’ understanding of concepts introduced in class
- Communicate regularly with parents on student performance
- Develop classroom standards to maintain student discipline and behavior
Qualifications
Proper Illinois licensure is required for this position, which involves core instruction in a self-contained 4th-grade classroom.

Salary Description
Salary will be determined by experience and in accordance with the current Kings School teacher contract and associated salary schedule.
