Duties
Assure the high-quality functioning of other community school programming, including health, dental, mental and family support services, effectively execute and maintain partnerships, support school culture/buildings, form and maintain relationships/partnerships with agencies that enrich the school environment and will provide services for children and families, support attendance initiatives, track student progress around the school's goals. CSC would work with the principal, team leadership and teachers to identify and coordinate academic, socio-emotional and health resources for students and their families. Coordinate all expenditures with the Superintendent, accounting manager and Director of Curriculum. Perform other duties assigned in accordance with the District.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education, social work, healthcare or a closely related field.
Preferred:
5 years of experience working in community organizing, education, healthcare or social work or related field.
1 year of experience working with community agencies to coordinate student success.
1 year of experience working with families to coordinate community or educational services.

Salary/Benefits
$50,000-$60,000 depending upon education, qualifications and past experiences.
IMRF or TRS Retirement System, Insurance will mirror those coverages listed in collective bargaining agreements.
15 Sick Leave, 2 Personal and 10 Vacation days and legal holidays.
Additional Notes
The Community School Coordinator works under the daily guidance of the Principal and the District's Director of Curriculum and Instruction to develop and supervise and supervise all community school programming in the school, including: Attn support & interventions, Family support services, Health and Wellness, Enrichment activities (during school day, after school & summer), Tutorial Support, College and Career support services. The CSC is a leader who empowers, builds, creates and develops relationships with school leaders, educational partners and community.
