Duties
Assist Superintendent in meeting responsibilities concerning state and federal reports, legislative requirements and policy manual updates.
Handle correspondence and phone communication related to the activities of the District Office and the Superintendent.
Accurately maintain files of the District Office and the Superintendent, ensuring they are updated regularly, well organized, and always available to the Superintendent. Effectively communicate with neighboring Districts, Regional Office of Education and Illinois State Board of Education. Complete all duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
Qualifications
High School diploma required, an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Strong communication, notation, writing and proofreading skills. High level of proficiency with technology and a variety of computer applications. Basic knowledge of educational processes and related laws/procedures preferred. Attention to details and deadlines. Ability to foster positive relationships. A record of confidentiality. Excellent work ethic.
