Duties

Reporting to the Director, is responsible for the development of the State Performance Plan, Annual Performance Report, and State Systemic Improvement Plan; coordinates work associated with the indicators of the State Performance Plan; coordinates the LEA determination process; assists in the department's overall general supervision activities including technical assistance.

  • Serves as the State Performance Plan and Annual Performance Report Coordinator working with each of the seventeen indicator teams to ensure consistency and timeliness of the improvement activities and completing the State Systemic Improvement Plan.
  • Develops processes for the Special Education Accountability System, including cyclical monitoring of districts.
  • Coordinates the Local Education Agency (LEA) determination process, including convening the stakeholder group, providing technical assistance and collaborating on the State Report Card and other public reporting. 
  • Assists in general supervision activities including the delivery of technical assistance and professional learning, writing agency documents, and coordinating with other departments, school personnel, and other stakeholders to improve outcomes for students with disabilities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
