Duties

Orangeville High School #203 in Section 1, is seeking a full-time high school teacher for its agricultural education program and FFA advisor. Applicants must be honest, highly-competent, caring, reliable, self-motivated, flexible, collaborative, and be a team player.
 
Facilities include two classrooms, shop and a greenhouse. Within the agriculture department there are currently 70 students taking an agriculture education course. Current courses offered include Introduction to Agriculture, Veterinary Technology, Agronomy, Agricultural Construction and Technology, Agricultural Mechanics and Technology, Plant Science, Animal Science, Orientation to Technology, Agricultural Machinery Service, Agricultural Business Management, Agricultural Environmental Science, Food Science Technology, and SAE. 

Qualifications

Illinois Professional Educator License and/or CTE licensure as required for position.

Salary/Benefits

  • Per the collective bargaining agreement:  District paid health, life, dental and vision insurance.  District paid TRS and paid time off (sick and personal days).
  • This position also participates in the three circles grant.
