Duties

•    Maintain District's website
•          Extract student management data
•          Provide professional development/training to staff on Skyward, Blackboard Messenger, or any related software programs
•          Coordinates on-site training for support staff with various external partners
•          Attends Technology committee meetings or Board of Education meetings as needed
•          Responsible for all data exports from Skyward to other student/staff applications
•          Responsible for importing/exporting all student/staff data to ISBE SIS system
•          Maintain schools social media presence
•          Provide Technical support for the POS Software application systems
•          Must be available to work evenings and weekends, as needed
•          Assist with E-rate, technology plan as needed
•         Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology or designee

Qualifications

•         Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Technology preferred or in a related field
•          Current work experience preferred or knowledgeable in: Microsoft, Mac, Blackboard Messenger or other Mass Notification system, SQL and/or Oracle Database, ISBE SIS requirements
•          Current work experience in: servers, internet protocol, VOIP, firewalls, web filtering, database organization, Skyward Student Management system or other Enterprise level student management system, Microsoft SharePoint management, developing and providing software training, ISBE SIS application system, online courseware system.
