Duties
Agriculture Teacher for Grades 9-12 & FFA Advisor
FCHS is proud to have two Ag teachers in our Ag Department along with an award winning FFA Program. We participate in the Three Circles Grant. This position also includes serving as an FFA Advisor. Classes we offer include: Intro to Ag, Ag Mech, Ag Business, Ag Science, Hort 1, and Hort 2. This year we are also hoping to offer exploratory courses for 5th - 8th grade students. Courses would be split between our current Ag teacher and the new addition to our team based on teacher strengths.

Flanagan-Cornell High School is a rural school in Flanagan, Illinois. FCHS is located west of Pontiac on Route 116. Although we are small, we are proud of the quality education and opportunities that we provide our students. Prospective teachers should expect small class sizes, a family friendly environment, and two supportive communities. Each student has their own school-issued Chromebook and access to the Google Suite.
