Duties
OBJECTIVE:
The school Principal will serve as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations and procedures to ensure all students are supervised in a safe environment that meets the mission of the school and district. Achieving academic excellence requires that the Principal work collaboratively to direct and nurture all members of the school staff hired by the Board of Education and to communicate effectively with parents. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for scheduling, curriculum development, extracurricular activities, personnel management, emergency procedures, budgeting and facility operations.

Certified/Administration
LICENSURE:
Illinois Administrative Licensure, Endorsement in General Administration
Qualifications
A Master’s degree or higher, with a major in educational administration.
Illinois Qualified Teacher Evaluator for Growth, Non-Growth and Observation (Modules 1 – 5)
