- To implement all district policies as they relate to the classroom.
- Make decisions and demonstrate support of the mission, vision, goals and interests of the school district and of students.
- To direct and supervise the conduct of all students within school facilities and grounds.
- To recommend changes and improvements in the curriculum to the principal and/or appropriate curriculum committees.
- To recommend the assignment of students and modification of educational programs.
- To seek assistance from or through the principal, the assistant principal, supportive services staff or other specialists to improve the instructional program, or to help solve specific problems.
