Duties

QUALIFICATIONS –

Candidates will be evaluated on their professional merits with emphasis on the following qualifications specified by the District’s administration:

  •  Ability to provide leadership in the areas of school improvement, student performance, strong student discipline, and curriculum development.
  • Ability to translate vision to staff and be student-centered.  A “people person” with personnel management qualities.
  • Ability to involve members of the staff in support of desirable educational changes and outcomes.
  • Ability to provide leadership for staff development planning and activities.
  • Ability to interpret complex educational and financial data to the Board, staff and community.
  • Ability to select, assign, supervise and evaluate staff.
  • Ability to maximize financial resources in support of educational programs of the District.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with the Administrative staff and Board of Education.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree

Working Towards an Illinois General Administrative License

Leadership Ability
