The successful candidate will assist the maintenance/custodial department in providing students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop. Hours are determined based on assignment.


  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. General knowledge of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  3. Establish and maintain effective and courteous working relationships with those contacted in the course of work (students, parents, & staff).
  4. Ability to understand and follow basic oral and written instructions.
  5. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
  6. Ability to communicate to students, parents and staff in an acceptable/courteous manner.
  7. Ability to lift, carry, push, or drag up to 100 pounds, as may be required in the course of performing routine duties.
  8. Ability to climb ladders to reach heights that may be required to perform routine duties.
  9. Basic technology skills to check email, use an automated time clock system, and order supplies.
  10. Must have a valid driver’s license when job duties require use of district vehicles or travel to district facilities.
